Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions. If you have another question, e-mail me or fill out the form below.

Why "Emmalee.com"?
Well, my name is Emily, and "Emma Lee" is a nickname a friend made for me.

How long have you had Emmalee.com?
I got this domain on November 7, 1999.

Do you make your own graphics?
Yes, I do. This version was created using Adobe Photoshop. Some parts of the site and past versions were made using Paint Shop Pro and PhotoImpact.

What program do you use?
I don't use any WYSIWYG program to build my websites. I type out HTML (plus CSS, Javascript, etc.) by hand. I'm very picky about the style of my code and have to write it myself.

Do you host?
In the past, I have hosted a few sites, and I still host a couple for my friends. However, I'm not actively looking for hostees, and I generally prefer to host only people I already know. If I've never even met you, please don't e-mail me asking to be hosted.

Who hosts your domain?
My host is Your-Site.

Will you design my website?
Yes, I would be glad to take on new work. I can provide graphics and websites, code or design. Just ask by e-mailing stars AT emmalee.com. (Note: This service is not free.)

Can I use your graphics, layout, or content?
Obviously, the answer is no. I have spent many, many long hours working on this website. What you see here didn't happen overnight; it happened over the course of four years. There are many places you can go (such as HTMLGoodies.com) to learn how to build a website. Stealing from others is just plain wrong. I don't really mind if you view my source just to see how I did something, but please don't take anything directly from me for use on your own site. With the exception of fansigns given to me by other people or buttons made by by others for use in linking to their sites, all the graphics here were created by me exclusively for this site. I have been very lucky in that few people have taken things from my site so far (gee, is my stuff that bad?), and I would like to keep it that way. If you find an idea for content at my site and want to use it for your own, please do me the courtesy of telling me your plans and giving me proper credit.

How many versions have you had of this site?
This is version 33! Actually, it's technically the 35th version because there was a version 3.8 and a version 26 part 2. Obviously, I've had a lot of layouts. You may view screenshots of most of them on the Old Versions page.
