I WILL NOT FALL

Put me in a deep sleep
Cover me with winter chills
Hide me in a cave a while
And yet I will not fall.

Icy air upon my chest
Little room to breathe
Time is passing slowly
And yet I will not fall.

You may bury me from the world to see
But I'll know I'll survive
Shut off from my body's ways
And yet I will not fall.

Lock me away from sunlight
Only I'm running abroad
I will be gone in others' eyes
And yet I will not fall.

Tape my mouth shut or block my eyes
But I'm soaring through adventures like birds
All you see is a dark coffin in the ground
And yet I will not fall.

Hibernation numbs my limbs
My soul speeding through the clouds
Though I stay on forever you can't see past my grave
And yet I will not fall.
