Counterfeit Son: "It's a book about a boy whose father is a serial killer, and it has a twisted plot that is VERY interesting, and the end is a total surprise. The boy, at 14, is named Cameron Miller, and when his father dies, he goes to the police after reading about a boy his father killed in his father's files. He tells the police he is that boy, because of two reasons. One, the family is rich. And two, the family owns sailboats. It's really good, and you really have to give it a try if you are doubting me. Trust me, it's a really good book." -- Phoebe

Breaking Rank: "It's a book about a boy, Thomas, who belongs in the "Clan". His nickname, Baby, is derived from his mom who always called him "Baby" when he was younger, and it stuck. Anyway, the principal thinks he has potential, so he agrees to be tutored by this girl, Casey. Casey is "popular" and smart, and Baby is breaking the Clan's rules by mingling with Casey and studying. The Clan isn't a bad group, they don't steal, they don't harm, they're more like a way of life. It's not really a cult either. But Baby and Casey are breaking the rules, and Breaking Rank is such a good book. I don't want to give it away, but it is a really good story that represents life the hard way. THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK. Don't pass this one. For real." -- Phoebe

Broken Arrow: "This movie stars the gorgeously hot Christian Slater and the famous John Travolta. Christian plays Riley Hale, who is the good guy. John plays something Deakins. Sorry, I forgot. Anyway, Christian and John are flying partners in the Air Force who "crash" their plane in the side of a cliff in Utah. They both get away, but the two nuclear weapons they carry are "lost". The code for lost nuclear weapons is "broken arrow". So now they have two broken arrows, and John is trying to find them so he can get the U.S. to buy them back, giving him a profit. And it's up to Christian and the park ranger, Terry, he meets up with to get back the broken arrows without anything done to them. If it doesn't sound interesting, it is, but if you are really doubting me, either go b/c you want to see for yourself how GREAT this movie is or to see the beautiful Christian Slater or if you prefer, John Travolta. Full of action and totally packed with hot shots of Christian (or John). DEFINITELY FUN and A REALLY REALLY GOOD MOVIE!!!" -- Phoebe
